Adding Vintage Charm With A Garden Statue

Adding Vintage Charm With A Garden Statue

I love bringing pieces from my garden and mixing it in with my decor. And that includes  pieces like this statue.

As you enter my home through our laundry/mud room I had an empty spot that was a little too bare.Although I don’t feel the need to decorate every nook and cranny. This spot was calling out for a little attention.

I found that lattice piece at a thrift store and it had just the right amount of chippy paint which I adore.

I used that piece as my backdrop and I built up my little vignette from there.

The mirror is not a garden piece but I love that bit of reflection you get from a mirror.I have many mirrors in my home for that purpose.

I just nailed this on to the lattice piece that is also attached to the wall.

I needed some height so I added a plant stand that looks like an old post with a little help from Miss Mustard Seeds paint.

And my garden statue adorned with a sweet crown purchased from my friend Rosemary from Villabarnes.

You can see this space is in between two door ways. Our entrance from our laundry room on the right and guest bathroom to the left.

This fills this space perfectly but does not get in the way either.

Check your garden for some ideas to add a little vintage charm in your home too.

Like what you see? Don't miss anything.
