So happy to be back to share some Christmas spirit with you! I’m Dria from Dio Home Improvements
I love white faux deer heads and have wanted one for a while. Keeping with this years Christmas theme of making all my own decor, I decided to take on making a DIY deer head. I wanted this for the log cabin man cave theme I have going on with one of my trees!
First thing I had to do was find a template, which I found here. This template was far too small for what I wanted so I blew the size up, then I had to print the sections off and tape them together. Once all the sections were together, I traced each section onto a piece of poster board. The poster board was far too flimsy so I used foam board for the final product. This project was so easy it took about an hour or so between changing the size of the template, printing and taping, tracing and cutting out with an exacto knife. Once you have all your pieces cut out on the foam board you put the pieces together like a puzzle!

I love decorating for Christmas! I have this deer head in my home office to go along with the Tool Tree I did this year. I’d love it if you swing by my site to see all the other Christmas decorations I have made this year. Wishing you all a Merry Christmas & Happy Holidays!
