Bowled Over By a Lady Bug
Who doesn’t love a ladybug? I don’t think I know of anyone that could say one bad thing about a lady bug. They are just adorable. What would make a bowling ball look any better than my mosaic gazing ball? The Ladybug that I saw last year…that inspired this project. I seriously wish I knew whom to give credit to…but I don’t…and I have to share.
Step by step, detailed instructions are seriously NOT necessary for her….so, this is how you make this ladybug:
Find a bowling ball…color doesn’t matter!
Spray paint it red
Tape it off
Find something for you ladybug polka dots
I just happened to have this piece of cardboard lying around that had the perfect sized hole in it for my ladybugs spots.
I didn’t even tape the head off…I just painted a semi-circle right above the wings. Seriously…this little girl took longer waiting on the paint to dry…than she did to paint! Oh my goodness she’s cute…and BONUS…she’s red…my favorite color. Since red is a complementary color to green…she just POPS in the foliage.
Please tell me you love ladybugs…. 😀
