Simple Fall Tablescape

Simple Fall Tablescape

I can’t resist the idea any longer.

Fall is coming.

As I think about what Fall is to me, I’m actually looking forward to it.  For many Fall means leaf garlands on the mantel and pumpkins as centerpieces.

But, I have a confession.  I’m not really much of a seasonal decorator.

I’ve tried it, but I just don’t enjoy all of the fuss: changing the decor again for Christmas and then going back to the bare bones once the holidays are over.

I prefer a much more simple approach,

like changing out the pillows and throw blankets, filling bowls with pinecones,

switching the candles from white to burnt orange, and adding cinnamon bars to my scentsy burner.

For me, those subtle changes evoke the comforts of Fall.

The only exception is when I’m hosting the Fall Family Potluck.   For that, I do take my Fall decorating a step further.   Join me in the dining room as I show you how to prepare a simple Fall tablescape, using what you already have.

Pinecones on the plates for place settings will be the perfect finishing touch.

I can’t wait for my family to take their places at the table!  Gathering together is good for the soul
