You don’t need to set an elaborate table to make a good impression on your dinner guests. Small details can make a big impact, and an easy way to create a little pizzazz for your table setting is to create handmade place cards. And today, I’m sharing how to make super simple ones that just take a few minutes.
Start with a plain white, circle tag. You can find these at your local crafting store, or simply cut circles out of card stock paper. Find a decorative stamp, like the dragonfly one that I used. Then, write each guest’s name with alphabet stamps … or you can try your hand at calligraphy.
You could tie these tags around a napkin, but I decided to stand them up instead. I grabbed some mini, wooden clothespins and put them over the hole in the tag so it wouldn’t be seen.
The wooden clothespins stand perfectly atop the plates.
There’s so many different ways you can decorate your handmade place cards. These only took a few minutes to create and add a special touch to your dining table!
