Hi, friends! Next week this time, if you’re looking for me, you’ll have to head to sunny California! I have the “FABB-ulous” opportunity to travel to L.A. for the Lucky FABB {Fashion and Beauty Bloggers} West Coast conference.
Of course, I want to be sure to pack some of my favorite things to take along, and I have to consider that instead of being freezing like it is here in Maryland, it’s going to be warm and gorgeous in L.A.! Here are some of the things that will be going in my suitcase!
1. Laguna Verde Dress from Ruche
Everything about this dress says Spring in California to me! I love the lightweight fabric, the ruffle, and green makes me think of plants and flowers coming back to life! I’ll also pack a cardigan to go over top in case it’s not quite sleeveless weather.
2. White and Silver Sun Hat
I am obsessed with this hat…it was an $8 find at Walmart, of all places, and it has little tiny silver sequins and threads running all through it. Style plus a little sparkle is always a win!
3. The Classic Black Bag from Miche with the Lila Shell
I’m a bag-a-haulic, and I like changing my bag seasonally {at least!}, so this bag from Miche is one of my favorites because it gives me the option of altering the whole look by switching out the shell. This Lila Shell is such a great color for Spring, and the bag is just the right size to hold all the things I need…not too big, not too small!
4. Moto Jacket from Ruche
Even though I know it’ll be gorgeous in L.A., it may not always be 70 degrees, so I’m bringing a jacket along. This one is a current favorite and it’s just the right weight for this time of year.
5. Jelly Beans!
These fabulous shoes take me back to being a little girl in the 80’s! I have the clear sparkles as well as the lavender ones. Believe it or not, they are honestly the most comfy shoes I own. True story. It’s still pretty chilly to wear them here, but once I hit the West Coast, these are going on my feet pronto!
6. My Mod-to-Order Watch
I am obsessed with Modify Watches, and even more so now that I was able to create my very own design and have it turned into a watch face!! I created this original watercolor as the logo for my own blog, One Artsy Mama, and it thrills me to see it turned into a statement accessory! This will keep me on time and make sure I don’t miss any of the events I’m supposed to attend during the conference!
I’ve got lots more packing to do, so I better run! Hope you have a great week, and I hope you enjoyed the peek into One Artsy Mama’s suitcase!
Wow! I love your fashion sense. The green dress looks good on you. Now that it is summer here in my country, I just think that your get up is very in for this season. And the bag, I love it!
