Have you seen stretched burlap canvases at craft stores? They’re just like a regular canvas used for painting, but with burlap. I think they are so much fun!
A few weeks ago I made a sign for spring using a burlap canvas that I can hang indoors or out.
You can read all about that project on my blog, Lilacs & Longhorns.
It was such a quick and easy project so I decided to tackle another one — this time, I made a quick and easy burlap Easter sign:
Again, this was sooo easy and took about 20 minutes.
Supplies:
- blank burlap canvas
- some burlap ribbon
- 3 pom pom balls
- letter stencils
- black craft paint
- hot glue
- a picture of a bunny silhouette (I printed mine from clkr.com)
Directions:
Print out bunny silhouette picture and cut it out using an sharp blade — I used an Exacto-O knife.
Using the bunny silhouette as a stencil, “paint” the shapes on to the canvas using a pouncer, then do the same with the letters.
Hot glue the pom poms on each bunny tail and then hot glue on a bow – easy!
I love quick and easy projects, don’t you? I also love showing them on my blog, Lilacs & Longhorns, where I share my passion for all things home. Please stop by and pay me a visit — I’d love to see you there!
Have a great day and thanks for reading!
So sweet and simple! Thanks for sharing!
